West Island Kitchen
After many years living in the same home in the West Island of Montreal, my client felt her home no longer represented who she was, and no longer met her needs for her family. The most obvious space that needed work was the kitchen. After debating refacing options, the client decided to go for the full renovation. She wanted to stay in the warmer colours of the rest of the house but with a more contemporary edge to it. At first there was some debate to hold onto the faux brick backsplash, but after some persuasion, we opted to gut everything, and open the wall to the dining room, and a smaller opening into the living room, making it very conducive to entertaining. As our families grow, our needs change, and this is the direction we went in to suite the client.here are the before and after pics.
